My name is Vida Thomson and I'm a Chartered Professional in Human Resources, Career Coach, and Professional Resume Writer.

I started my career in Human Resources Management, and worked for 10+ years in all aspects of HR including recruitment, hiring, training, employee relations, performance management, and compensation.

Four years ago, I launched Flourish Career Consulting to provide individual coaching services focused on my passion - helping clients find success in their ideal careers! Areas of expertise and support provided including resume writing, interview preparation, career coaching, career assessments, leadership coaching, and outplacement services. This is all supported through my education background including a Bachelor of Arts in English, Certification in Psychometric Assessments, Post-Baccalaureate Diploma in Human Resources Management, and a Certificate in Digital Marketing. I created Flourish Academy to be a cost-effective solution for those that are interested in learning resume writing, interview preparation, and career development strategies independently.
